About Berkeley Vale Motors

Family business Berkeley Vale Motors was established at its new home on Thornbury Road Alveston, Bristol in 1926 by the Hawkins family as a used car dealership. In 1970 we took the Rover franchise on board and became one of Bristol & South Gloucestershire’s premier Rover dealers.

In 1998 a third generation of the Hawkins family, current owners – cousins Richard & Nigel Hawkins - took over the family business and upon taking down the Rover badge in 1999 decided that in 2003, a new exciting up and coming brand Hyundai had a new home in Thornbury at Berkeley Vale. Since then the brand has gone from strength to strength and we are fast becoming one of the most successful Hyundai franchises in the South West of England.

We are a Hyundai approved main dealer and Rover specialists, providing full dealer facilities from servicing, MOT and repairs for all makes and models. We provide parts to many other franchises in the South West also offering a tyres and exhaust facility.
